In 2016, Jemima and Chris happened to cross paths in university. Chris initially became interested in Jemima during their psychology class. He would always crank a smile whenever he would see her behind her laptop wearing her cute glasses. Jemima didn’t acknowledge his presence at first, until she started feeling his eyes on her every time she would see him. Though they'd run into each other throughout the year, they eventually began hanging out as friends, and in October 2017, their relationship grew stronger. Seven years later, they are best friends, true loves, soulmates, and badass partners in life.

Finally, Chris got on one knee and popped the question in Miami under sparkling lights surrounded by red petals with the city’s greatest views. On a city rooftop, he threw a surprise proposal - Jemima's younger sister, Dorcas, and closest friend, Hilde, were present to celebrate. Friends and family from all kinds of countries and cities were watching the proposal online.

Jemima and Chris can’t really tell their love story without first acknowledging their friends, because there would be no Jemima and Chris if it wouldn’t have been for Dahlia and Brandon. It didn't take long for their friends to realize that there were two people in their lives who might just be perfect for one another. They truly are thankful for their friends.

They could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of their life together to begin, and are so excited to celebrate their love with family and friends.
